wanting to build a pissed off 383-388

building a street strip motor for my 2wd. i have everything for the 383 except pistons and cam. i want raw power. i'm thinking around 11 or 11.5 to 1 race fuel doesn't scare me on this one. nitros will be added to it too.

what make and model of cam would you suggest and pistons?
cost isn't a factor either since i'm only into this for $1000 thus far.

oh and i'm running dart iron eagle 202's

I would think a roller cam (and rockers and lifters of course) would be the what you want in seeking raw power. Not sure on a specific model/brand as I have not had the time to research them as of yet.

a big bumpy solid roller, get ahold of desktop dyno, and play around a bit, see what makes power where you want it to. http://smokemup.com/utils/cams.php has a good many crane cam files for desktop dyno.
