warn 8403??

i looked at the part number on the top of my winch and it says 8403, is there any differences with this one and a 8274? they look identical. if it helps the serial number is 19870

also does anyone sell the plastic cover that covers the solenoids that you plug the remote into, it's kinda cracked and broken.

yep, when i pull out the lever it'll free spool and then it locks back when i push it in. the only difference i see is it has a t handle on the lever instead of a round knob

Sounds like its identical to an 8274 to me

That is an 8274-50, it has the new style T handle and redesigned brake.
