Does anyone know anywhere that I can send one to be rebuilt. I know that you can rebuild these on your own but this looks like something that could really test my patience. Would any one here be up to the job?

I would hate to f it up. The one I am considering buying currently works but a rebuild might not be a bad idea.

Do this!!!! Double motor M8274. http://www.gigglepin4x4.net/

that's just WAY stupid overkill.... :eek1:

I love it......... :haha:

Damm Ryoken, That would fit your build perfectly!

eh, front and rear XP9000's will have to do me.....

now, a big heavy burb? I really think you NEED that... :deal: :haha:

Looks like I will give the rebuild a try. I haven't bought it yet just making sure I don't buy it and then not be able to rebuild it.

Warn 8724 rebuild

If you're afraid to try your self send it to warn they'll rebuild it.

Logjam from pirate wrote some really in depth posts about the Bellevue/8274s a few years ago. I think it's on pirate and I know it's easy to find on alaska4x4network (bgreen had to lock the forum down due to that las vegas law firm, but all you have to do is register). I think he was running a newer Ramsey motor which was cheaper or stronger or more efficient or something. Been a while since I read it, but it's definitely a good read.

I talked to a Warn rep a few years ago and it wasn't expensive at all I don't remember the price you can call or email warn to find out.
