What would cause the locking hub to engage while driving? I finally got a few minutes of free time and have been messing with the blazer again for the first time in forever and took it down the street for a test run. I get this clicking noise coming from the front end. I get out and check everything. The left front hub is halfed locked. Weird. So I unlock it all the way and go for round two. SAME THING! After about 1/4 mile the damn thing goes into half locked position! ALWAYS something!!
These are the Warn...I forget the number off hand, but the ones for the 35spline outters on a D60.

Thanks.

Hows it going Jeff?
gawd this sucks. common problem it sounds like? It was like 11pm last night and I didnt feel like pulling it apart to check it out, I was too mad that 'something else' wasnt right :doah:

Mike...

good to see you on the site....

just want to confirm the snap ring is fully seated in the notch of the axle... if it isnt the engagement gear on the hub will move outward slightly, bcause of spring pressure, and youll get the exact ticking noise youre talking about... because the hub is partially engaged...

Hey Cam, good to see your around and doing well!

I'll pull it apart tonight hopefully and check it out if I get some time.
