swapping factory d60 (cucv) hubs for warn premiums - putting the large retaining ring back in (holds the "body" in) and it will not seat in the groove like it does w/ the factory hub assembly. Is it even used? (I bought the hubs used - no instructions) please help me.............

In my premium kit there was a different retainig ring (thinner and more of a spring type). I too tried to install the old ring (better, stronger design imho), but failed.
Seems that the Warn premium hub is just a bit larger than the original spicer part.
