Anybody know the size of the cap retaining screws for Warn standard hubs? I know I can take the actual hub in to TSC or hardware store and try them until I find the size, but I'm at work and was just trying to get a jump on it and save myself some time. Also the length of them isnt really an issue either, just the diameter/thread size....dont ask why.....was swapping out hub/spindle bearings and the locking hub wont slide in enough to let the inner c-clip on, and now the freakin hub is stuck and wont pull out..
And yes, I took the big retaining clip back off. My idea is to geta piece of metal and drill some holes in to match the cap screws, attach it to the hub and use that to get some leverage on the hub, and I'm not about to try that with the aluminum screws. Cant think of any other way to get them out.
