Warn Selenoids?

I got what i believe is a M8000 for free a while back. I took it apart and the motor seems fine, but the selenoids are fried.

I've heard that you can used one from a Ford starter, but i can't find a part number.

Also, where can i find a replacement lever for the gear box?

I brought one of mine into Carquest and looked through the catalog until I found it. The older solenoids are not a continuous duty solenoid like the new ones though.

I don't have a part #, but I believe it was the same as some of the Ford starter solenoids. Mine was for an M8274 winch...I don't know if solenoids will be the same as the M8000 or not.

Yeah, i'm trying to keep searching through catalogs of selenoids as a last option.

Any one else done the swap before?

Theres someone selling the newer style solonoids on Ebay. I just rebuilt my M12000 this week. I think they are $75 for 4. You can upgrade to the new solonoid pack style just make a little harness yourself. Heres a pic from mine that might help. SOrry its a "before" pic and kinda dirty
