So first off, I should say that Warn is awesome, at least in customer service.

Been trying to find the o-ring to seal the spicer hub (the large o-ring, not the knob one) and had little luck. Called Warn, as the parts guy I was previously talking with said they might be the same. Long story short, Warn sent me 3 o-rings for FREE, of different sizes to try and make sure I got the right one. Awesome customer service.

Anyways, the large snap ring broke on one side of my axle. (mine are older Spicer) This is the one that snaps into the wheel hub. http://dyeager535.topcities.com/partsmanual.html (10 bolt front diagram) it's part #69.

I'm wondering, for those who have swapped to Warn, did you reuse that snap ring, or did Warn supply a different one? Online, Warn doesn't show that snap ring in the parts of their hub kits.

Thanks!

Are you talking about the baseball size diameter snapring that looks like a solid wire in a round shape that hold the hub body in to the bearing hub?

Well, I think we are talking about the same piece, but to clarify:

Yes, it is baseball size...it's the one that snaps into the hub body (the splined portion of the wheel hub) and retains the round metal piece that the 6 hub bolts thread into.

This is a different piece than used on the auto hubs, this is the only reason I am clarifying...the one on the auto hubs IS a wire-like piece, with two tangs that face outwards, but on the manual hubs, it's a flat steel snap ring with the edges beveled for removal.
