warn winch bumper, Strong?

A friend of mine has one he will let me have. Its black. I usualy build my own but if they are tough Ill use it. I belive these are discontinued.

The middle is strong but the "wings" are weak. You can reinforce your stock bumper struts to make up for it a little.
