According to Warn the m8000 will fit in your classic bumper. The warn m8000 is 20.80in" in length and the Ramsey rep8000 is 20.86" in length. So I don't see why you would have a fitting the Ramsey in it. Have you already purchased the winch? If not take a look at the Ramsey Patinum9500. More power, and longer cable. More is always better than just enough.

Well I am on a budget so I can't afford a Warn winch, so I am going to get the Ramsey 8000 special that they have at National tire and wheel. Thanks for the help

I HAD that very winch, blew it up in the winter in the Sierra Nevada's, cost me $100 to have the armature rewound. If you can hold out save for a few more months & get the WARN, regardless, get a snatch blcok, they are a bit pricey, but well worth it. I run a WARN 900lb now, would have got the 10,000 or 12,000 but they didn't fit the homemade bumper I had at the time. By the way I built that bumper for a Ramsey 8000lb, and changed to the WARN 9000lb and it bolted to the exsiting holes.
