Found this truck for sale in Reno last week while doing a huge CL search and now it's here and in Iowa too.

Funny because almost like magic, it now has 100K less miles and went up $1100 without the camper on the back.
I'm for making a buck as much as the next guy but flat out lying to do it ain't cool at all.
Lucky web archive is a handy tool I use alot! :D

a 200,000 mile 454 that doesn't burn oil....your right its magical.

hell, I'd drive over there with the old ad and offer $2000. :) The IE is only a hop skip 'in jump away from me.

but not interested, heck I posted up the same type of truck but listed $1800

you don't get it.
The guy bought it for the camper and now is selling the truck and using the old pics from the add.
And he probably change the odometer to make it look better.
The worst in my opinion, I have done this before where I buy something and then sell stuff off for much more but I don't lie, and I don't use previous owner shots.

No dude I do get it.
He bought it knowing there is 200K on it and now advertising it with 100k.
That's OD fraud and very much a douchbag thing to do.
Which what's easier to sell: something with 100K or 200K?
Bought it for the camper?
Here it is in Iowa with the camper included.

As I said, not against making a buck but taking a 100K off isn't a honest mistake.
I spoke to the old owner in Reno because both ads were up at the same time, posted 24hrs apart, and it looked like a scam.
The new guy had it for sale before the check cleared, while it was still sitting the old owners yard.
I just don't want to see anybody on CK5 to get taken.
