Washer pump

Is this the wrong pump? Something is not right because there is no way it’s gonna fit the reservoir. The skinny side fits it the spot really tight (upside down)

The only possible way would be to insert the pickup tube into the grommet at an angle, then pop the pump body into place.
Other than that, I would look for a different pump.

If you were to put the inlet into bottle, at an angle, then lining up output with channel. Push the body of the pump into narrow section.
I don't know if that is the correct pump, but looks like it could work
