Guys,

I just changed out my intake while I was working on the TBI swap and now I have water coming out of the tailpipe. Is the most likely cause a water port that didn't seal? I used gasket sealant around the water ports as well as a new gasket.

How much water? Is it just water or does it have anti-freeze mixed in? Are you running a cat converter?

If you truely had improperly sealed up any of the water ports on the intake you'd be more likely to have coolant in the oil than anything else. Since the intake and coolant ports are not cast together in the intake or the head you would have to have a leak running down between the intake and head to run from the coolant port to one of the intake ports. Then it would have to be pulled through the cylinder and pushed out the exhaust (most likely burning it before it goes through the exhaust anyway).

My bet is if all you are getting is clear water, it's just condensation in the exhaust. Pretty normal to have some dribbles.

That's what I thought when I read the subject line. Happens to me all the time, especially if I let a vehicle sit for days and then idle for hours.
