So it has been raining here pretty good today about 1.25 inches and my truck was parked nose forward up hill at work. When I started backing out at work right where the glove box starts from my view from drivers seat you can see water just start pouring in for a few seconds. Once I leveled it out didn't see it again from what I could tell.

So was this just luck thing or does this sound like maybe the original seal for front window is going bad?

also check the firewall seam sealer under the wiper cowl . yes its a b!tch to get to pulling all the stuff . but 30-40 years now the stuff dry's out and cracks . i had a leak and mine was this .

Don't want to pull it off but your correct Should check that first. What brand seam sealer are you recomm to use to reseal if need be?

brand ? i dont recall what i used . but you want it to stay semi flexable and not 100% rock hard cure .

also few cheep disposable gloves like mech use these days . you dont want that goop stuck to your skin/hair on hands . your going to have fun getting it all the way in there .

Thanks for warning! Hate taking wiper arms off. Yeah Gloves are a must played with that stuff from 3m before in white and blue tube and it is no fun.

If it was below the glove box it could have been water collected in the fresh air vent then into the fan pleunum and coming out of the heater box.

That "Flexi-Seal" spray stuff or similar products by Rustoleum, etc, might be good for that firewall seam--be easier to spray some sealer in there than to apply any by hand..

My trucks always leak thanks to rot in the cab around the windshield,I had to put some butyl rubber waterproofing tape along the roof line behind the sun visors on most of my trucks, they all had holes from rot there and leaked like a sieve...
I'd have water pour right in my crotch every time I'd take a right turn...(and it was embarrasing when that happened on my way to work--everyone thought I pissed my pants --:..
