Water Outlet

I had to replace the 4 port vacuum/Temp switch on the water outlet and now want to replace the other thingamagig too....what is the other thingamagig called? I know it has one wire that comes off of it and goes to the carb (for choke things i assume). It has a temperature element in it but I dont know what it is called. Thanks for the enlightenment.

sounds like a tvs...thermostatic vaccume switch

I've forgotten the name, but its something like a secondary accelerator pump. It's been covered a bit before here, but it's a one-off setup really.

This is assuming you are talking about a carb with the two wire connector on the passenger side top, with no connector on the front drivers side. That two wire connector is where the one wire you mention goes?

yeah...one goes to that switch on the therostat housing and the other goes back to somewhere on the passenger side.

If I remember how that setup was wired, it is just a switch.

You might check out LMC's catalog, they seem to have a pretty good selection of all that thermo controlled emissions stuff.
