Started her up tonight after replacing fuel pump, balancer, and water pump. Also had the radiator buttoned up while I had it out. Running great and much smoother with a functioning mechanical pump (the old one was a mess and way out of tolerance) and fluidampr.

I found a small leak coming from what I think is the water pump to water pump plate/ cam cover. Driver side, outlet to the block...I was really diligent about sealing everything up. I used Three bond silicone and anaerobic sealant in the spots the factory manual specified, and with a proper gasket. Everything torqued to spec. I believe it was 32 ft/lb.

Any bright ideas on what to do to fix this? Can I torque the bolts to the block slightly more? I will have to pull the pump back off this weekend...

Looks like you already know what may be. I would just double check that it's not coming out the weep hole on the bottom.

Agree on weep hole, and if that's definitely not it, try torquing the bolt(s) down a hair more.

If you have to disassemble, make sure the sealing surfaces on the pump are flat (block will be harder). I just lay a piece of sandpaper on the concrete or metal tabletop and slide the piece across it. Any high spots will be obvious after a couple of passes.
