i have a 73 454 with an early 90's (91 or 92 i believe) serp. belt set-up on it.i had the motor rebuilt and didn't get the old water pump back(my fault).do i need to get a standard or reverse rotation water pump?it has all the options,alt,p/s,a/c, and air pump.

Serp belt I believe is reverse rotation.
Easiest way to tell, look at your water pump pulley. If it's smooth it rides on the back of the belt which would be reverse rotation. Grooved... well you get the idea.
