water pump

has anyone changed a water pump on a 1998 cavalier? how hard was it, what all did you have to take off? thanks in advance

quad 4 2.4L?

or

2.2 pushrod engine?

its a pain. water pump runs off of the timing chain.

gotta take the exhaust manifold off

and the timing cover/chain.

pays about 5.5 hours.

might be best left to a pro.
