What works for you guys?

My setup is a 80 Gallon/2 stage Pro Air upright compressor with a Kobalt (lowes special) inline filter & regulator that seems to do very little (if anything) when it comes to removing moisture from the line. It's pretty irritating when it's clogs up the media in the blast cabinet and with the recent addition of a Hypotherm Plasma cutter I have more motivation to clean up the air supply. I'm also looking to add some hardline along the ceiling to feed other locations around the garage so now is a good time to address this water issue.

PS- My compressor is drained regularly before someone brings up the obvious.

I ended up buying the Motor Guard M-100 with 1/2" in/out as the main the filter. These flow up to 100cfm at max 125psi.

Then I bought a pair of Motor Guard DD1008's to put inline right before the plasma & blast cabinet. These flow 20cfm at a max psi.

I'll report back after I receive the filters and get a chance to use them.

Parker refrigerant air dryer. For my cnc mill completely dry air is an absolute MUST to keep the spindle from rusting. For painting it will keep contamination out of the paint too.

I have 25' of hose and then a 5 micron husky water separator and then a motor guard like above, then the lines T off to a couple spots in the garage. It seems to work well for the plasma cutter and blast cabinet. I just setup the same thing in one of the other garages for the CNC plasma table. The motor guard is rated to 0.01 microns IIRC.
