Anybody know where to find the water temp sender? My buddy was helping me time the thing and I think he kicked a wire loose cause it don't work now. Also anyone know where I can get a pair of the caps that go on the top of the vent window? I would like new ones if possible.
Thanks

If it's stock should be on the side of the driver side cylinder head between plugs 1 and 3. Wire color is green.

You can get the vent window caps from Chevy Duty. I think They still have a Banner ad on the top of the screen. Jim hit it head on with the sending unit. If it is not there look on the water neck in case it has been changed from stock.

I believe the name of the part you are looking for is called a drip rail deflector and the Chevy Duty part number is 01-713, they are $24.95 a pair.

my temp sender is on the passenger side between the 6&8 cylander.maybe mine was ran different.

The heads are the same so they use them on either side. If you took the oone off of the left side with the sender between 1 and 3 and put it on the right side it would be between 6 and 8. The one between 6 and 8 is where I hook up my electric fans.

The part that you are talking about is not the "drip rail deflector". There is no aftermarket source for the caps that go on top of the vent windows. The only option is to try to find a used set.

Re: Thanks

i bought a parts blazer on ebay just for the top and luckily it still had the caps cause mine were missing.i havent found an aftermarket company that offers them yet.
