way off topic *DELETED*

Re: way off topic

Some you can and some you can't... The ones that can your supposed to let sit upright for 24 hours afterwards before plugging it in.

Re: way off topic

It suposed to be kept upright. That said, this is way outside my knowledge base, just what I have read on the warning labels.

Re: way off topic

Done it both ways without a problem, but the lay down trip was only 30 minutes in that position. I was told if you do lay it down you need to stand it up and not plug it in for a couple of hours.............maybe something to do with the compressor oil????? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Re: way off topic

if it's an inclosed coil then you can lay it down without a problem. just stand it up for at least 24-48 hours before you plug it in. that way all of the oil will run back down into the compressor. if the coil is exposed, then lay it on it's side. just make sure you tie the doors shut. and again, let it stand up for at least 24-48 hours before you plug it in.

Re: way off topic

If you're able too transport it upright, then that's how I would. I don't like taking risks with things like that.
