So let me get this straight...more stringent auto emissions restrictions will cripple GM, but they can go to the lengths the article mentions in a plant? I suspect 1 million a year isn't pocket change for operating costs for one factory, but I doubt it's huge either.
On the environmental/conservation side alone though, it sounds really cool. Wouldn't mind having the possibility of using rainwater to flush my toilets and run the garden hose. As poor financial shape as these companies are in, re-use of every last piece they can should be the norm, not noteworthy lol.
