We are sending “Rigs of CK5” calendars to our soldiers
We want you to help.
After some discussions with other members on here I have decided to head up a Calendar project for our military brothers. The basic goal is to get as many calendar donations as possible and then get them sent to our members in the military overseas and at home.
This will require 2 critical things from all of you.
First: We need calendars to be purchased / donated for the cause.
Second: We need military names to be submitted from our members for us to send the calendars to.
Over the years I have been a part of several military support projects that involve sending packages to our soldiers. Many times it has been car / truck / motorcycle magazines that keep them motivated for the things they love back home. I know from a few personal friends that they love getting those type of things because it is a mental break from the ho hum life overseas or the mental garbage they have to deal with everyday. I figure for our CK5 members that are serving away from home that it would be nice to pass by a calendar hanging in their quarters and be reminded that we all support them. Paul, Kim and I agree on this and hopefully the rest of you will join us.
Details:
Here’s how it will work.
I will be collecting and organizing a database of the soldiers that have been submitted to receive a calendar. I will keep this list and communicate to Paul and Kim how many soldiers have been submitted. They are adding an option on the calendar order page for us to purchase a calendar for our soldiers. Once we have received all the submissions and all the calendar donations we will send them out to the soldiers. The first submissions will be sent out first until we run out of calendar donations. The deadline for all of this to happen is November 1st.
Soldier Submission requirements:
I will need the names and addresses of soldiers sent to me via email or PM. I will develop a list to forward to Paul and Kim. The following information will be needed:
• Full name (& CK5 username if applicable)
• Mailing address to be sent to (Base, housing, unit # etc.) Home address if military address isn’t known.
• I will need your name and username and in case more soldier information is required.
• Submit all information to:
[email protected] or send a private message in CK5 to B.N.Z.MTNS
This is intended to encourage our CK5’ers on deployment right now, however, you may submit names of soldiers at home and non CK5’ers too. Depending on response we will get them sent overseas first, then to our members at home and non-members.
*If by chance we get more calendar donations than soldier’s names, I will forward the remaining calendars via local Colorado branch to units on deployment.
Calendar Donations:
• Follow the link to the order page as if ordering for yourself.
http://www.crowfootsureprint.com/ck52014/
• Be sure to look for an option indicating that this purchase is for one of our soldiers and make that selection as well as how many calendars you are donating.
• Paul and Kim will set aside those calendars to be sent after all the soldier name submissions are sent in.
If I forgot any details or anyone has anything to add please post up or send me a message. Lets make this happen

I'll see how things are looking in a week or two and check with Paul & Kim on calendar donations.
