The wipers on my 85 either barely move or get stuck. Is the motor shot, or the linkage rusted up. Is there anyway to referb the motor or do you just have to drop down $$$

The easy thing to do is spray some WD-40 on the pivot points and see what happens. Replace your wiper blades too. If that helps, problem solved. If not, then yeah, a new motor is probably in order. It's not that hard to swap out.
