Weatherstrip on door?

I have replaced the weatherstrip that seals the whole cab side of the door. But is there supposed to be weatherstrip on the door?? Or outside part of the cab??

I'll try to look at mine at lunch and see. If i remember mine just has the one main seal around the door, nothing on the door itself. For some reason I'm thinking there might be a little piece that goes on the door at the curve on the top front.

Just checked mine and there is also a strip along the top of the door, basically front to back about even with the bottom of the window.

Fairly certain any stripping along the door was either part of a trim level, or a year variation, or both. I'd guarantee my buddies plain jane '83 C30 doesn't have anything on the doors, but I know I've seen some on some trucks.

Just checked the LMC catalog and it lists the weatherstrip on the door as only for the 79-81 models.

Cool I thought there was something missing. Im trying to make it as comfortable and quiet as possible. haha

IIRC..81 and up the door seal goes aroudn the whole door frame of the cab, theres nothin on the door itself.
