hey all,
ive searched and have not found what im looking for.

I am in the home stretch of a 88 blazer frame off resto and need all the weatherstrip, im looking for people that have tried different brands so i dont end up with junk, theres nothing worse than trying to installl garbage weatherstrip.

every day there seems to be a new brand out there,
ive tried metro on a montecarlo the fit wasnt to bad, wasnt completly satisfied with the door seals though

I went through LMC for some seals years back, and the ones that fit seemed to be ok. They had a couple of issues with the bed rail to topand the rear window to top seals, but if they corrected those, not too bad.

The bed rail seal they would have had to fix, they wouldn't work for anyone. The rear window seal was made incorrectly (the metal clips were not made of spring steel) although it will fit, so who knows if they listened. They were really good about replacement/refunds however, so no complaints there.

If you can get the seals from GM still, do it. At double the cost, they are double the value.

If whatever dealer you talk to says your truck is too old without actually looking, call someone else. There might be a few of the seals still in the inventory. The bed rails and rear window seal were both gone, that's the only reason I bought them from LMC.

i need it all,
soffseal has a kit $640
1A auto has a kit for $240

If it was me, I would go with soffseal. LMC is pretty bad on every piece I have ever dealt with them on. Classic may be better, but I haven't dealt with them yet. Soffseal is quality stuff, which is why the price is much higher, and I have yet to see an issue with their stuff.

I would also say steer clear of LMC seals. While I like most of LMC's stuff (alot of times they're real GM parts!), they need to work on their seals. I threw my rear window seal away from them, it was complete junk, bunched up in the channel, didn't really fit right.
The bed rail seals needed modified. The roof header seal was too short.
I managed to find some NOS ones. Much better fit!
I will say LMC's door & window seals worked well.
