weatherstripping

Thanks for the info! my uncle works at a gm dealer so I'm going to see If I can get some oe seals and see what the price is which will probably high lol

Some of the seals are still available OE, most however are not. Classic is pretty decent quality, LMC, based on what I have seen, is junk for weatherstrip, and Sofseal is who I plan to use. The price is higher than Classic, but the quality is also very high.

I got lucky with LMC, mine looks good, fits good, and withstands the 5min per window pressure washer test, so i cant complain. I have heard horror stories though.

I just did all new door weatherstripping and went through 1Aauto. Good price and the fit and quality is good.

i checked with gm and they wanted 70$ a side for door seals :doah: so i decide to get some from classic truck parts for 29$ and see how i like them before i order the rest. i know you get what you pay for but gm wants a little to much

I had some GM seal for the door glass that I used. 1st order I got some from LMC, very poor quality. Then order some from Classic parts much better quality. They do carry as much GM original parts that they can still get. you do get what you paid for. I would spend the extra on these parts if you can. Mine stay inside an I will be replacing the LMC sh*t because, it not even lasting a few years in my shop while I built mine. (SEAL FOR THE TOP)

I got the door seals installed and like them they are good quality so I ordered the rest of the top seals just hope they are just as good
