K5 NUTT
1/2 ton status
Anyone have the web site addy handy for the 6.2/6.5 deisel page? After the trip to Co. i think the deisel conversion would be worth lookin into before i dump money into a aftermarket FI set-up. Read somewhere that the 6.2's get around 23mpg in town and around 31 mpg on the highway....way better than FI...around 16mpg. I'm all for fuel economy....plus i work on deisels for a living....hmm....maybe i could borrow a Cummins 5.9L.....lol. Actually there is a guy who owns a 88 burban and he works for Cummins hear in town...he installed a 5.9L in the burban (all 1 ton running gear of course)....well anything is possable...
