It's not accurate because the transmission should say 99+

The 4 bolt is for the older trans not the newer tail pattern

The 4 bolt goes on the older adapter.
This doesn't replace the adapter but converts it work with the newer transmission and engine

I dont see how this converts anying but an older 700r4 to work with a round 6 bolt t case instead of the figure 8

It's backwards.
It boltsvto the transmission on the 6 bolt side then you bolt the old adapter on the the 4 bolt side.
You're having a hard time imagining it but that is what it is.
It also has a reluctant wheel that goes on the output shaft to work with the pickup module provided with the kit
