WEEEEEE! New 5.13\'s and D60 Detroit!

I ran to the door giddy as a schoolchild to greet the UPS man with my New 14FF/D60 5.13's and D60 Detroit locker!

I'd like to thank Alex and the boys at PORC offroad for their great service and even better prices!!!

Re: WEEEEEE! New 5.13\'s and D60 Detroit!

Ooooooo I am so jealous /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I can't wait to regear mine, just waiting for extra money. I am trying to decide on a new gear 4.88 or 5.13. Congrats!!!!!

Will have post up what you think of those with your Caddy engine? Have you driven it yet or just been finishing it up?

Re: WEEEEEE! New 5.13\'s and D60 Detroit!

If mine works great with 5.13's, you might want to use 4.88's with 38's.

I'm just poilishing it off now, its all the little crap that takes forever!!! I'm doing a 1986 clip swap, so that's taking a bit of time, and the re-gear will set me back a bit but be SOOOO worth it. I just need to get it to the point where I can insure it and it is reliable to drive, then I can work on it in my driveway. I'm going to have to see if I can light up 42's at least once /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif

You'll love the gears and lockers. I run 5.13s and dual detriots on my 38's /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

That must have been the Paul Bunyon of UPS drivers to carry them heavy SOB's to the door /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif Congrats /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Re: WEEEEEE! New 5.13\'s and D60 Detroit!

It's a great feeling to be excited as a kid on Christmas, I love the UPS delivery's too. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif I wanted 5:13s too, but w/ no overdrive after doing the calc's I would have been high rpm'ing it to the trails. Went w/ 4.56, works well. In the future I can always opt for a doubler or Klune-V. Happy for you Dude! /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Re: WEEEEEE! New 5.13\'s and D60 Detroit!

I am leaning closer to 4.88's at the moment since I am uping a tire size real soon, 38.5x15 bogger mmmm Boggers /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

You will love the power of your Caddy even with 4.10's mine is a blast to drive on wet pavement, very squirly /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif But my Caddy engine set me back yesterday, blew a head gasket between 1 and 3 cylinder, be careful and not get yours hot...so mine sits until I feel like fixing it /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Re: WEEEEEE! New 5.13\'s and D60 Detroit!

Yeah, I wen't to 5.13's for the sake on my transmission, and becase I can see a 4L80E swap in the future, which would be great for mileage. I'll just throw my fresh TH400 into my K30/S10 Hybrid. Oh yeah, and I think I'll put a 472 or 500 in that one too /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

So where is this PORC Offroad? Do they have a website?
Thanks,
