A few of us CK5ers hit a trail here in Colorado called Old Chinaman's Gulch today. It was a lot of fun.

Ha, that's me in the red jacket. I wasn't actually taking a picture, just posing for this picture :D That was a good time.

That was you? I thought it was a jeeple hiding to take covert pictures of a real trail rig.

I'm loving them. I think it is more the size than the brand. Big change going from 33" to 37".

Have you got the 39s yet? (or was it 38)

It was going to be a set of 38.5x11 boggers, but no, after taking more body damage, loosing anther window, getting it stuck between two trees, and tearing my T-case skid/crossmember out of the frame, i have decided to stop wheeling the K5 hard while im ahead. I picked up a new project trail rig, an '85 Toyota. I have new plans for the K5, it will still be wheeled, but more as an expeditionary rig with a set of michelins, if i can ever find some near me. It will also tow the Toyota to long distance wheeling trips.

Glad to hear the 37's are working out for you, especially with that ammount of lift :D

I've got the front trimmed enough to clear (with sway bar still connected). Now my only problem is that the factory rear springs have gotten wore out and the rear end is sagging bad. Need to toss the blocks and springs and get a set of rear lift springs. 3" probably with the 2.5" in the front.
