Weight of 305 smallblock & 6.2 diesel

Hi,

I'm selling my 305 smallblock & 6.2 diesel. I need the weight of these two engines (each) to calculate shipping costs for possible buyers. Does anyone know how much a

305 smallblock and
6.2 Diesel weighs ?

Please note that both engines are fully dressed up with all related stuff (starter, ac compressor and so on)

I don't have any clue on the diesel weight but a long block SBC weighs 565 lbs. then you need to add the weight of the accessories.

6.2 weighs between 650 and 800 pounds depending on accessories and shipping pallet.

I have searched the ck5 forum and got the same figure for the 6.2 (about 800lbs)

Concerning the SBC: 565 + stuff = about 700 - 750 lbs.
Ok, this should work. Gonna put them on euro-pallets and have 'em shipped.;-)
