so last nite i was cruising around, and noticed after i turned right onto my street, that my truck was pulling really hard to the right. it happened suddenly. so this morning it was still happening when i cruised over to my favorite coffee house. it stopped pulling to the right tho, after i turned right onto the street the coffee house is on. it was fine till i came home and turned right onto my street.

it then occurred to me that maybe my detroit wasn't re-engaging after going around right turns - so i revved the engine up and feathered the clutch a little bit and sure enough the locker popped closed and i didn't have the problem again.

so, now it's happened a couple times in the last 24 hours where my locker isn't reengaging after turns. any ideas on that? could it have anything to do with the weather changing - it's a bit colder out now....

ideas?

Reset your tire pressure to make sure both tires are close to the same diameter . The cold very well could of changed the tire pressure .

also what fluid do you have in the diff and what's its condition?

Try synthetic , the diff gets awfully hot . I use heavyweight in AZ , you have winter so you may step it down some . Syn \thetic will drop the temps enough to notice , like 70 degrees or so .
