Well I went wheeling today and noticed everytime I hit the water my Engine revs to like 5000 RPM and stays there. When this happens I can't do anything and it is pissing me off. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

no idea about the 2nd gens... but I am guessing maybe water on the ECU/computer? is it fuel intected?

Nope its got a 4 barrel carburator. Edelbrock. I was thinking maybe 1 of 2 things. Either The air inlet tube is sucking water into the carb or water is getting on the distributor. I dont know though. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
