Weird thought

Okay, so I've had a few weird dreams about this and was wondering if anyone has either done or thought about it.

It basically involves taking my 86 and just taking the body panels and slapping them on a new Yukon or Denali. Sometimes it involves a hybrid. Has anyone ever done that that you know of, plaster an older molder body onto a brand new chassis?

other than the engines the newer trucks arent really a step forward for most of us. It's usually the reverse with our older drivetrains stuck under later model stuff to perform better. But i will admit the newer dashes are rather sexy.
