Weld Racing, Weld Wheels filed chapter 11

Just ordered these in an 18x8.5 with 4 sets of lugs for $670
 
I guess Greg Weld and Boyd Coddington are teaming up to make some nice wheels. I also read something where American racing is honoring the warranty for the older weld wheels, couldn't find the link again.

I highly doubt this merger since Boyd is dead and his family business has closed and is in court cleaning up after him, that guy was a douchbag.
 
I still have not heard anything from them at all and my order still saids 0 of 4 processed. I wanna call them and ask, Where are my free wheels?:haha:
 
Mine still says 5 of 5 processed for all three sets. They called yesterday to confirm I needed 5 instead of 4. Something about making their inventory end up with odd numbers so I told them 4 would be fine and got off the phone as fast as possible. It was just some warehouse guy who didn't seem to care how much I paid.
 
Well I just got an email saying the wheel I had ordered was discontinued.:rolleyes:

So I pick up the phone and give them a call(first mistake) to see what they could do for me. Well after being hung up on not once, not twice, not even three times, but 6 FU(KING TIMES!!!

All I would ask is what is left in stock and they would hang up on me. One guy asked me to give hime some part #'s I got them for him and in the midst of me telling them to him, he hung up on me.

So on the final call I laid into the last guy. He told me there was a very limited number of everything. I gave him some numbers and he looks up my order and saids O their was a glitch it is going to be 570. I said no. Your web site said in multiple places 75% and 50% off. I asked him to speak to a supervisor. That is when well you know it he hung up on me:mad:.


I officially give up. 4 Wheel parts is not worth my energy. I am not upset that I didnt get my "free wheels":o.

The reason I am so angry is just the lack of customer service. I mean really do they train them just to hang up on customers so when they call back they are just that much more of a pain in their ass:mad:.

So if any of you Four wheel parts sales reps are reading this I HOPE YOU ARE DIAGNOSED WITH A RARE FLESH EATING ANAL DISEASE!!

I just got the e-mail saying the Velocity 8's were discontinued as well and no longer being manufactured. I just replied for them to cancel my order. I am still pending on the other sets I ordered.

Funny thing is now my order status saids that they are all processed. God only knows what is going on.....

They're probably gonna get ready to feed you some bullshiit story about the wheels "getting lost" in shipment or at the warehouse and will try everything in their power to keep the shipping fee you've already paid.

Probably because they haven't reach you yet.

They're probably going thru a looooooooooooooooooooong line of orders from lots of people thinking they're getting free wheels, too, just like we were. So thats a lot of emailing and calling to let us know of the mistakes. Sucks to be them but still funny how they're wasting their time emailing and calling everyone. The jokes on them. :haha:
 
I picked up my 4 Weld Velociti 6 xt's on wednesday. Decided to order one for a spare, so I called today and they said that wheel was all sold out.
They are some really nice looking wheels.

I owuld try agin for the guys getting told they are sold out..once all the "free" orders get fixed I assume their numbers will change:D

My bro called back that same day and tried to order the wheels they were saying were out of stock to see if they were telling true. And well they realy weren't lieing. He rattled off about 3 different wheels and they were all sold out/discontinued.:o
