I've always gotten confused on their ads ... "If it's Weld, it's forged" ... does that it means it's forged if it's not welded? Or is it a forgery if the welds are not ... aargh.

Weld wheels has nothing to do with welding. Weld comes from the owners name, Greg Weld.

Careful on that quote there. I've bought 3 sets from them before. I still have one set I bought and now have two other sets that I bought from other people.

You definitely get what you pay for when buying rims like these. Too bad the customer doesn't see it that way.

I know there good wheels I have a set of Super singles On my 86' a set of scorpios on my Super Duty, and a set of Cheyenne 8's fixin' to go on my Brown K20 when ever I can save up for 40" MTR's

weld makes damn good wheels... but for the price, they sure as hell better. All my rims combined (2 vehicles...) cost less than one Weld rim. yikes.

No wonder, I'm sure they're good wheels but for the price of four of them I could find a decent woods beater or two.

every great once in a while I see a set of craigslist cheap. They are probably stolen... but whatever. lol. I'll get a set for my tow rig someday. I saw a set of 4, 16" rims for $200 not long ago. My trucks wheels/tires are 16.5s so I passed. Hell of a deal though.

oh well. Someone will buy them. Their tooling/experience in making high end forged AL wheels would be worth the price for another wheel manufacturer to pick up. There really aren't that many forged AL wheel makers around.
