Got my 4 wheel parts flyer today and it shows weld wheels 75% off. The guy on the phone didn't know anything about it. He told me they were only 50% off and he wasn't going to argue with me. I told him the discount code was,( in case you need it ), 9840-09-08-00. Then he had to check with a supervisor and sure enough I was right. So the wheels I wanted Velociti 6 that are 17x10 list for $579. were only $143. each. So I'm still smilin :D and free shipping to my local store.
So if any of you are interested in Weld wheels nows the time.

Weld went out of bussiness or something, or they were sold to American Racing I herd.

I've had my eyes set for some 16 x 10 Super Single II's and also Stonecrushers.

I'm too lazy to search, but if anyone else calls 4WPW, ask them for prices for these wheels.

Oh yeah, 8 on 6.5 bolt pattern, too.

I had a set of Weld Stonecrushers on my F-350. I broke a wheel, as in cracked it. Now this is a lifted truck, etc. but it doesn't get used off-road in any way that I would describe as "hard". There is no way that wheel should have failed.

The local tire shop said "Too Bad, a new one will be $550.00 (or so)". I had bought them originally from Four Wheel Parts. I got hold of an upper level manager there who agreed that the wheel should not have failed and he got it replaced under warranty even though the warranty had expired.

I should also point out that those wheels were a monumental PITA to clean/polish.

I will not buy a Weld wheel.

I love the look of my Weld Super Single II's with OMF bead locks. Here is a link.

What were those "dome" things you were referring to in that thread?

I'm guessing the things that go on with the lug nuts?

If so, I have those for my Welds also. I have a set of SS II's on 38" Radial Swampers and like your rims, mine are also 16.5 x 12's. I have them sitting in the storage shed across town waiting for the next K30 for me to buy and install them on. :doah:

Those go on the bead lock rock ring. I didn't put them on my wheels cause I was going to make my own, never did. They protect the bead lock bolt heads from getting chewed up and help bite on rocks. You put them on every bolt or every other bolt if you prefer.

Seems now when you order online the wheels are free, just pay the shipping, check out the thread that says weld racing weld wheels filed for chapter 11.

Thats old news on the bankruptcy.

Where exactly did you see this online ordering of free wheels/pay shipping?

The free thing was a glitch. They are however 75% off on the 4wp web site.
