hi, i just welded my 14 bolt today and i was wandering if i made i mistake by doin so? :(

can anybody tell me if its gonna blow up on me first time i'll cut the wheels sharp on dry pavement or its gonna hold????

got 35" mud terrains on by the way.

If you can't weld very well then yes that is a possibility. I have run a welded 14bff with 32 and 35" tires for over 2 years on the street and haven't broken it yet.

How did you weld it? Did you void weld it like the aritcle in the tech section or ball weld it all together? The second one it the strongest and will last longer.

I welded the hell out of my old 14bolt and wheeled it HARD and drove it on the street w/ 38" TSL's w/o any trouble at all.

welded 14 bolt

well i welded all the spider gears on both side gears, welded it everywhere i could, i guess it would be the ball way.
