I had it out on the trail yesterday with my newly welded dana44 front and had no problems. I didn't really try to break anything, but I did have it bouncin a few times in the rocks. I'm hesitant to back up anything hard or really get on it at full lock. The full hydro steering (single ram) helped a lot, but I'd like a little more power out of it. Maybe a smaller pulley on the pump (stock). And YES it sucks to turn, but it's worth it to be able to put a front tire on a vertical ledge and scoot right up it like magic. In 4wd, it seems like the front tires pull in the direction I'm turning rather than just push and slide forward (2wd with locked hubs). So far I'm glad I did it. I'll let yall know what breaks first. -Beck.

easy... just swap it with a 203 or a 205 /forums/images/icons/smile.gif i know i'm just being a smart as*

but that's what it basicly boils down to, didn't notice you had a 208.

ARQ.

How 'bout a 203/205 combo to see if I can't break some stuff in that dana44? Ha. I'm waiting 'till I win the lottery for a doubler, new driveshafts, dana 60, 42tsl's, and beadlocks. Yep, that's it.

HHMMMMM....sounds like what I want. 'Cept Im gonna stop at 39 Boggers. No 42's for me. (famous last words) /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Excellent.....Enjoy all that big stuff....I'll be there someday.
For now I'll just rip it in my LITTLE buggy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, at least I can actually see the trail now....and I weigh under 4000lbs. How's that for a k5?

Just wanted to make sure you didnt think I was knocking you or anything.

I just am finally building my truck how I want... listended to other people a little too much in the past.

I am proud of what I am doing. To each his own, right? For the mud I go in... I need as much tire and motor as I can get.

I know you weren't knocking me, and I know you're building that thing RIGHT. Keep it up....I like to see K5's with all that big stuff.
