Im going to buy a new miller portable. I just cant deside on the bobcat 250 or trailblazer 275. This is going on my tool truck so the generator would be used alot as well. The trailbalzer can run both at the same time but only welds dc.

At my local airgas the bobcat is on sale till the end of the year for $3200ish
The trailblazer is $3600ish. I realy dont know what one to choose as they both seam to be damn good machines for my needs.

I also need to know what engine you guys would prefer they offer a robin 22hp or a kholer 23hp. I have always had good luck with kholer engines on other stuff. But the guy at the store swears the robin is a better choice, although he couldnt say exactly why just that it was a better engine.

I would say the bobcat 250. I put theses on all the cranes we sell. Plus in the last to years they did some awesome up grades. Welding is good and your 110 out put is good. The trailblazer fells a little weak in both areas. Plus the Mant. is easy on them. Hope that helps.

I know its not one of the poll choices but i bought a new trailblazer 302 a few months ago for less than 3900 shipped and i love it.

Well I had to work so I sent my dad in to get one, I told him just try to get the best he can for the price. He bought the trailblazer 275 said the 302 was just a little more welder than we would ever need and price and the fact that they didnt have one in stock. So Im sure this one will do just fine.

He also bought a hobart 140 mig from the pawn shop. Fab work here I come LOL.
