welder question?

You get what you pay for, ya know. Might be okay for sheet metal but I wouldn't build a roll cage with it. I suggest buying a miller or a lincoln welders.

You definitely want a mig. Stick welders have thier place but it sure aint body work. Have fun shopping!

My bad, I thought it was a fluxcore 110 welder. So, no it can't do sheet metal at all. You need a mig welder (with gas) or find some 0.030 fluxcore. I have successfully welded with 0.035" fluxcore but is a real pain in the butt.

Could you weld stock like this with a stick welder?

I agree with the rest. Also if you have access to a 220v outlet go with a 220v welder, you will regret going with only the 110v. Take a look at this one Click Me thats the one i was going to buy (bought a truck instead)

Also stick with miller or lincoln, it will be alot easier to find replacement parts. Hope that helps.
