chicago electric 90amp flux wire welder would this be a big enough welder to weld rollcages and any tubing projects?

I'm a fairly new welder, just finished a welding class actually. It seems to me a 90 amp welder would be enough to go up to maybe 1/8 thick but that might be pushing it. IMHO, I wouldn't weld something as critical as a cage with a low amp Harbor Freight welder.
If your a good experienced welder, you'd probably be fine.
Just my opinion.

Really depends on what you want to do and what kind of power you have in your garage.
If you don't have 220 in your garage or a generator, then your limited to 110 welders obviously.
I'd get the highest amperage one you can afford. If your looking to keep cost down, look around for a used Miller, Hobart, or Lincoln mig box. I believe all Mig boxes will run flux core and you can always add gas later to do Mig.
What thickness of tube do you plan on making the cage out of?

That welder will do just fine for normal rollcages and small things like that. I have one smaller than that and have done all of my own work (check my sig there is a lot of welding on my K5) and I have not broken a weld yet (ruined a lot of tubing though). It will be a little slow but with enough practice it will do fine.
