I've been doing a bit of searching on welding spiders on here but all are for the 14ff. My plow truck is a 90 sub 350/465/241 and I would like to weld the spiders for more traction to get to the top of my drive in deep snow.
I have a 14ff but don't want to use it on this truck. Also current tire is only 235/85-16 traxxus MT. Max i would go to would be 35-10.5. I take that back... I'll go as big as i can once i find a way to change the blade angle to compensate for added height. What do you guys think? does anyone plow with a welded rear? The road is dirt in the summer and only sees town occaisionally. Thanks for your input in advance

just remember if you weld up the rear axle on a sf make sure to leave one side open so you can get the c-clips out if needed

I havent popped the cover yet on a sf 14 ( it's -9 and it dosen't fit in the garage) Is it like a 10 bolt in that the roll pin would be the only thing that would need to be removable to push in the axles to get the clips out?
