this mite be a dum question. but im considering just welding my shock mounts on and to tie the cage to the frame i mite just weld it to it. since it will be boxed.but i havnt got that far into the build, thats why i ask should i be concerned about the metal brake and fuel lines on the inside of the frame? the gas tank has been removed from the truck also. there is only brake fluid in the lines.

as long as you don't blow through, or the lines aren't directly touching where you are welding it will be fine. I installed my lines with clips to hold them away from the frame when I boxed it up. No problems.

Be careful of fuel fumes though.
