i have stock 52's in the rear of my k5 with an echobit style shackle flip. i need to put on new perches. i am going to swap to a diy4x shackle fip and 56's. would i be able to go ahead and measure and weld for my setup now and swap on the 56's and the new shackle flip without messing with my pinion angle?

when I did all mine I left the perches unwelded, just u-bolted in, then when I got weight of the rig on the springs and all I could make changes to pinion angle then weld solid.

i know im saying can i do it with the 52's and echobit. then swap to 56's and diy4x and not have my angle changed too much?

one thing is if you weld it now then change to 56s and diy you can change the shackle length some to get pinion angle changes but you might have other adverse affects if you have to go too drastic.

best bet is to hold off till you make the swap. some variables are difficult to account for.
