Huffed Blazer
1/2 ton status
Supposed to start a new job today, so I go to fire up the blazer and the power steering pump, which I had just replaced, starts leaking from the bottom of the housing. Not a huge deal, I could've lived with that, but the diesel leak beside it has me concerned. I need to drive across the city to pick up some of my tools needed this afternoon, so I figure I'll take my 03 Ram diesel. I haven't registered it this year, so I head on down to the registry office, and present my insurance. Apparently it's not my vehicle!! I head back to my truck to check the registration. Turns out it's registered in my bitter ex-wife's name. Super.
I registered it last year by myself and figured it had to be in my name. Oh well, might as well get it fired up, as I haven't driven it this year, but it always starts. Except today.
It is completely dead. Okay, I'll charge it with my blazer. Charging away and all of a sudden the Dodge locks my keys and wallet inside. Must have been something to do with the alarm/keyless entry. Crap. No worries, I'll call AMA to come unlock and boost it, as I just moved and can't find my spare keys yet. Well wrong again. Apparently they won't come to help unless the truck is registered. 
I go inside to call the new employer 4x to let them know I won't make it today. No reply. I was supposed to start on monday, but was tied up with some family matters as my Dad is dying of cancer, and called monday and tuesday to cancel already. Maybe that was my last straw.
Was really looking forward to working there too. 5 mins from my house. It's been a day. I think I'm just gonna go to bed.
Maybe I should just sell the diesels and lease a prius.
