Wouldn't surprise me if the military used the same keys for all of them...

When I went to buy mine the guy had 12 m1008/28s but he handed me a ring of keys each with a different VIN on them. Why were those specific?
If yall cant get keys, i can talk to my motor SGT tommorow. Im sure i can get more than enough.
makes me a little nervous at the same time.
PLUS ,Lawrence.there is only so many way's to cut a key.X2 on what money said. I would have to say the keys are out there you just have to look. I would hate to be responsible for any one doing wrong or worse yet getting in trouble for a master key. In Ohio possession of a master key is a crime.
Main reason I got it was so when I go check out one on a liquidation site I can see if it starts and if I win to get it on a dolly. One of the First things to get changed out will be locks.
what ever is in you're pocket will start something close to you're ride.
my manager had an 88 mustang and the girl that worked there had a 87 minivan. the door and ignition keys were the same.
A lot of times the locks got changed out when the CUCVs were sold for civilian use because of the "common key" situation.
