well i changed the ignition module and took the carb back to square one

and i still need the choke almost shut for it to run /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif,i even took my brother in laws q-jet he just took off his truck when he put in a 454 two weeks ago and it wouldn't evenstay running with that carb.F##K'EN POS. what the hell would make the carter afb need the choke need to be pulled? i sprayed with starting fluid and no leaks,and i even checked the hose going to the brake booster? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif HELP /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

yea,TJ it's always needed the choke shut.before i changed the ignition module it got were i could run the choke half open?after it warmed up. i put the AFB back on today and after running twenty minutes it dies as soon as i just slightly open the choke.WTF?????? /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif
