Well I\'m joining the big block club! With Pics!

Just aggreed on a price for a 1988 454 Burb with 71,000 original miles. Garaged almost all it's life. Gentleman I'm buying it from has been retired the whole time he owned it. Used it to pull a camper. Pretty well every option but the privacy glass. If you didn't know the body differences you would swear it was no older then 2. It's near perfect. Windsheild has a crack and a slight exhaust leak are the only problems. It's even shinny! I'll post some pictures when I get it home tomorrow.

I got three trucks and one car, and they got 454s, the car with a very healthy 468. And two of them just happen to be for sale, so if anyone wants one, I got two!!!

Hope the exhaust leak isn't a cracked exhaust manifold. BBC's are known to crack those.

Hehe No It means 2-3 weeks a year we will be pulling around an airstream. AZ is planned for 2004 /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I have a grandmother out there The Mrs has an Aunt as well and I figured I bug Rob and Marv for a few day's.
The other thing it means if I have enough pull truck to tow Dollar So More out of area wheeling at rougher places since I will have a way to get it home if I have a major break.

Well Took half the day at the Tag office! /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif
Well her it is!
Even has the factory floor mats. Guy gave me the trailer mirror extension, Even had a travel pack with complete set of hoses, belts, spare plugs, FACTORY 88 service manual.
Paid $5k for it but it's nearly perfect and drives great! Layed into the gas on the way home and it jumped from 65-90 in like 3 seconds! Just pins you to the seat.

Tinkered with it a little while. Iddle seemed high....The purge vac line from EVAP was off. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif That fixed the high idle. Crwalded around under it and found two minor leaks...the dram plug on the oil pan and the diff is damp around the cover . hasn't leaked enough to leave a sing dorp on the driveway. The honda my wife bought two weeks ago has been busy marking it's territory though /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif
So tomorrow I get the Supra ready to sell and I get the 79 ready for delivery. Sunday I get the Honda in the garage and fix an exhaust leak and see where it's leaking oil. Hope it's just at the filter.
Hay this will sound crazy but I want single headlights. I have a set of Bad a$$ Hell racing headlights I'm going to miss bad.
